Sheila Selznick, OTR/L, has a BS in Occupational Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University Department of Occupational Therapy School of Allied Health Professions. Sheila is a clinical instructor at VCU and an OT clinical supervisor for the University of Tennessee in Memphis. She helped open the Center in 1976 as the first Program Director. Currently as Participant Care Coordinator, Sheila coordinates therapy services, develops individualized care plans for the participants, supervises students and interns, and consults with activity staff to select and adapt activities to meet special needs.
Sheila and her husband have been married for 40 years and enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren. As a licensed OT she realizes the importance of maintaining independence at the highest level possible and enjoys teaching older adults to be successful in achieving their goals.
